Time: Wednesday 10am – 1pm
This is by appointment after prior consultation with the doctor.
Please book an appointment with Sian or Alina, our Practice Nurses, for your annual Asthma check.
We provide care in pregnancy in conjunction with Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Devenport Team Midwives. In nearly all cases, the majority of your antenatal care will be carried out in the practice by the doctor and midwives.
Pre-conception advice (ie general information on how to be healthy before you become pregnant) can be obtained from the doctors. It is sensible to have a routine check for German Measles (Rubella) before starting a family, since infection can cause problems for the unborn child.
These tests are carried out by Sian, Sally and the GPs. We would like all women to have a regular test which is simple and takes a few minutes. When your next test is due you will be sent an invitation to attend.
Family Planning is offered during routine surgeries when we are able to offer you a full range of confidential services and advice including coil fittings, contraceptive injections & implants and prescriptions. Please feel free to see a doctor or Sian, Practice Nurse during normal surgery hours.
Child health services
We work closely with the Community Paediatricians and Health Visitors in providing child health services and we run a child surveillance clinic on Thursday afternoons with one of our GPs and one of our Practice Nurses.
Smoking is harmful to your health but we understand it is often difficult to give up the habit.
